| Almost 30 years have past since the inception of Northfield Hydraulic Services Ltd (N.H.S. Ltd). Owner and Managing Director John Mowat worked for various companies in the early 1980’s, designing and manufacturing ROV’s and ancillary components for Hydro Products Ltd in the USA and Africa. Over time, John became frustrated with the lack of support from American manufacturers in their ability to supply spare parts due to lengthy international shipping times which in turn made business practice frustrating and costly for customers. John identified an urgent need for the supply and repair of equipment to be made available in the UK. Northfield Hydraulic Services Ltd was created in 1984 with a determination to offer a local, quick and efficient turnaround on ROV repairs and renewals and to supply locally sourced ROV components at a competitive price. John’s wife Linda decided to help him in this new enterprise and today, Northfield Hydraulics Services Ltd is a market leader in the sales, hire and repair of specialist ROV components to the UK and beyond. “Our aims & objectives haven’t changed over the years, we continue to supply a first class service to our customers whilst preserving a local and experienced family team.” Our global customer base includes: Acergy/Subsea 7, Technip, Saipem, DOF Subsea, Canyon Offshore, MOD, Forum Group, Marin Group, Oceaneering Int.
